After waiting for almost a month, the Philippine Football Federation and the Philippines Football League will be all smiles with the news released by the Inter-Agency Task Force regarding the resumption of football activities in the country.
In a statement released by Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque last July 3, 2020 during the government’s “Laging Handa Public Briefing”, the practice and conditioning of basketball and football teams are now allowed as the IATF approves the request of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and several football clubs.
With this, the participating clubs in the PFL will now have the chance to resume their preparation for the upcoming season. In a previous report as well, the PFL together with the PFF have sent in their 20-page recommendation to the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) and the IATF as well for the resumption of professional football activities in the country.
The entire footballing community here in the Philippines now awaits the guidelines in terms of how the clubs can conduct their training session as well as the much-awaited start of the 2020 Philippines Football League presented by Qatar Airways.
