PFF U-15 Championships Matchday 3: Tor-Schneesturm

On a paradoxically blazing Friday morning in the PFF National Training Center, the goals flew thick and fast like an Alpine blizzard in the two games from today.

A Leoven Gatungay goal within the opening minute set the tone for this one, as NOFA continued their winning ways with a crushing 12-0 victory over the Federated FA of Masbate.

A swarming NOFA press completely smothered the Masbateño defense, drawing a sending-off from a Masbate defender, and things only got worse for the already 10-man Bulls in the second half as goalkeeper John Soler was carted off after a leg injury early in the second half as NOFA plundered their fifth goal.

Braces for Dominic Dreyfus, Jefferson Tolimao and the aforementioned Leoveb Gatungay paced the Negrenses as they add another 3 points on the board.

Not to be outdone by their erstwhile pool-mates, the NCRFA squad got to work clinically topping the earlier result by putting 13 past the CRFA squad.

The Capitals were paced by a Jian Caraig hat-trick, along with braces by Dominic Tom, Umi Abelarde and Scott McKenzie as the valiant Mountaineer stand crumbled under the relentless Capital attack.

Proceedings were marred late on by a very late injury to Mountaineer netminder Eishane Pino.

A titanic battle on Sunday morning, that’s what; the two pacesetters in the pool square off as NCRFA and NOFA play at 8 am on Sunday, with top spot in the pool the prize both sides desire.

In the second game at 10 30 am, the Federated FA of Masbate look to salvage some pride against the Laguna FA.
